Welcome

Welcome to the blog. My name is Deejaegh Beck and I’ve gone through a lot. I am now learning a lot about myself and who I am. I am becoming stronger with every breath that I have taken since figuring out that things needed to change back in 2015. My life has been complicated for a while and I knew that things needed to change and I need to get my story out there.

I am finally ready to just do it, even if it hurts to do so. Sometimes, and I have learned this recently; we just need to get it out there, and yes it does hurt. But, put the hurt and pain aside we must move on and the only way I know how to move on is talking about it until it no longer hurts.

Trauma is a very real thing, and if you are experiencing this, it tends to get better if we work towards a recovery for our future. I am big on change and positivity, and I have done my fair share of wallowing in my wounds, and that just made the wounds deeper and deeper. Trauma and mental health are not fun, take it from me, I have my highs and lows but, that’s all apart of the process of recovery. Recovery is very painful but, we must face the challenge if you are ready to do so.

This blog will cover my story and the challenges but also things I do to cope with the recovery. My challenge for you this blog is to: Get a notepad or journal and write down the challenges you are facing right now due to your past. Then I want you to write the positives about each challenge underneath each challenge. Every-time you are struggling with that challenge(s) look in the book and look at the positive outcomes you have just written under the challenge you have faced. I will write my challenges and the positives next entry.
